Desktop Clutter

Is your desktop getting so cluttered with icons that you just seem to not be able to find anything on there anymore? Getting frustrated with the mess? Well I have a solution. Get organized. What I mean is, create folders on your desktop in specific categories. Here's an example, if you have a lot of unused desktop icons on your screen, here are the steps to create that folder.

1. Right click on a blank space on the screen above the taskbar.
2. Scroll down to New and go right and left click on Folder.

You should now have a folder on the desktop labeled New Folder. See, that was easy wasn't it? Now you can hold down the left click on your mouse on whatever icon and/or icons you want to clean off your desktop and drag them to the New Folder icon you just created. See? Gone. If you want to get to those icons you just put in there, you will now have to double click on the New Folder icon to get to them.

If you need to rename the New Folder icon to a different name, then do these steps.

1. Right click on New folder icon.
2. Scroll down and left click on Rename.
3. Then type in whatever you wish and hit the Enter key.

You're all done. If you want to add more icons to your desktop, then go back to the beginning steps and do it all over again. Hope this was helpful.
