Show or Hide Desktop Icons

Want to hide all of your desktop icons maybe to view something in your desktop background or did you accidentally make them disappear and don't know how to bring them back?

To Hide Desktop Icons:

1. Right-click on the desktop, then select Arrange Icons By.
2. Uncheck by clicking Show Desktop Icons.

Abracadabra! Watch them magically vanish before your very eyes. Don't panic. You can bring them back by doing the opposite.

To Show Desktop Icons:

1. Right-click on the desktop, the select Arrange Icons By.
2. Check by clicking Show Desktop Icons.

Whew! They're back. I use this sometimes when I want to view all of my desktop background or if I don't want someone in my household to accidentally mess up the way I have my icons arranged.
